The oxygen plant that Cerro Prieto was able to donate, thanks to the collaboration of some of its clients and the joint work with the NGO Socios de la Salud and the regional government, is now operational to work at its maximum capacity. It has been installed in the Chepén Hospital to serve the local population, and it can supply 24 cylinders of 10m3 of oxygen each daily.

This equipment will be of great help to face the second wave of Covid-19 in the Northern area of Peru, which has been one of the most affected since the beginning of the pandemic.
